For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's.
The Lord has a new life he want's us to have. He wants us to have it now. He wants us the way we are. With this new life all sins will be forgottn and everything old will become new.
Why wait?
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before Your face
Every decent human being deeply detests injustice. When we see it in life, or even in a movie, it agitates us. Nothing makes our blood boil more than injustice.
Will the judge of all the earth do right?
Jesus said to him, "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind"
The most important command is to love God with all your being. As with all His commands, God does not give this for His benefit, but for your benefit. It will bless you, and improve your life and well-being to put God first.
What about the love of family?
"But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil."
"Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful."
You almost have to be God to live this one. Loving your enemies is in itself an oxymoron. Even if we, like most people, have a heard time turning on the warm and fuzzy button for those at the bottom of our favorite people list, we can pray for the strength of The Lord. Unfortunately, not many people understand that God is truly good. The world has been deceived into accepting an image of God that's mean and vindictive, harsh and strict.
